Pennick...totally agree. His blocking really stood out, and his running was excellent. He was the star of Spring training for a reason, and we saw glimpses of why last night. He has yet to break one, but now that he is healthy, that’s just around the corner. Damn, love our running backs!

Good. Hope to be allowed off the crutches on the 30th, and then on to a damn cane for a couple weeks. Then I’ll start to know whether the surgery was successful. ND winning has been medicinal!

Nice. I played golf with an old friend and everytime he bent over his left hip squeaked. I told him he needs to carry an oil can like Tin Man. He has had umpteen hip and knee surgeries. He still hits it pretty well. I feel very fortunate that I have never gone under the knife. Nothing more important that one's health.

It was his best game. Not a break away guy like the other 2 but he really epitomized the physicality of this team last night. Heck I was yelling at Chip long to keep feeding this kid the rock up the middle when he was throwing screens for no reason. Long scares me sometime but then he does some creative things. Jones was a beast last night for sure. Throw in Dex 's speed and it's bet 3 backs ND has had in a long long time.

i'm wondering why w/ the big 3 + McIntosh we burned CJ Holmes' red shirt this year. I dont see him getting in a game again unless we have injury issues.

Going into, and during, the UNC game all three of the big three were injured to some degree.
