Understandably, Clark Lea is the center of attention but I think we might have another boy genius in Rees running the offense. It is such a well coached unit and they are consistently in sync and in command. Book is playing to his potential and has worked himself into an NFL career. It is fun to watch because it is really stinking good football that we're seeing even though you can see deficiencies in speed. It isn't as much about explosion as it is just downright bullying you down the field. It's familiar and it's sustainable and that makes it refreshing. The explosive pieces can be added but the fundamentals at work here are Notre Dame through and through.

- They huddle
- They are comfortable lining up under center
- They have control of the snap count
- They LOVE to block
- They talk shit
