This is a huge statement for Notre Dame. No, it's not the same as taking down the confederate flag in the South......but the Notre Dame hierarchy is definitely caught up in the current times and they have committed to a huge display. What this says to me is: Notre Dame is SERIOUS about remaining in the mix of the new college football regime and this is really good news to all of us
