Seems that a few of the regulars over there who decided it was a good idea to come over here and bash those you post here have gotten temporary bans from the mods. There are more then a few who are pissed off.

I wonder what they did that finally crossed the line? Most likely they tried their insults on the mods and the board is actually being moderated now. I'm still not sure what they thought they would gain by coming on here like a goon squad that was hell bent on destroying the free board. I wonder if they still have to pay the $ while they are banned. Doesn't matter, they had both time and money to burn it would appear.

Quite frankly they degraded and devalued Notre Dame.

I'm guessing that the mods determined that the this type of behavior should not be part of their business model.

Why would people pay money to be a part of that?

I'm guessing/hoping that if they start again they'll be gone for good.

PS Their "football coach" attempted a football thread that may be among the worst efforts in board history.

I go back and fort between message boards and I by far like this board better. The posters here are a hell of a lot more informed then they are in the Rockne Roundtable (aka 4 Horseman Lounge). Don't get me wrong, there are some very good posters over there also but there are a few that ruin it for the others. Heck, there are some over here also. But here we get fans from other schools which at times can be a challenge but then there are some good ones who visit.

The ignore button is a great thing and I have some of the posters from the paid site on ignore.

I also enjoy read the articles here and at the 24/7 site and the South Bend Tribune.

Anyway, I thought I would let you know what is happening over there. I'm sure most of you don't care but it is quite funny all the posters who last night/today who are in a complete meltdown over there.

The bans lasted all of 5 hours. Mostly it was for nudity or masterbating monkeys. This happens once every year or two. People go all bat crazy, others defend, people complain, mods react, and ....bam the board goes insane. It was fun. There are a few posters on the pay site who have sticks in their rectums that gloated and now look stupid with everyone back to drive them nuts again. The big winners were the dudes here, as their attention was focused elsewhere. You're welcome.
