Here's my vote and they both come from the Class of 2014 from the great football State of Indiana. Yes! Indiana is no Georgia when it comes to Div 1 Recruits, but still provides a couple diamonds in the rough each year.
Most Overrated High School player from the State of Indiana
Justin "Boogie Nights" Brent - Not sure if I can recall one meaningful pass reception on the field for this 84th Nationally Ranked, 11th best WR, and #1 Player from the State of Indiana. However, off the field he was known for dating a porn star. Not sure, if Justin received his ND degree? However, I would not be surprised if Adult Film Acting might not be a possible destination in his future.

Dru Tranquill - Coach Lea, unlike Uncle Rico Van Gorder figured that this Safety recruit was playing out of place. Coach Lea took a page from FSU coach Bobby Bowden, who would move speedy safety's to play linebacker. Tranquill was a 3 Star Recruit, #32nd Safety Position and #6 from the State of Indiana. Most of his offers came from inferior football schools with the exception of ND, Wisco and PSU
