Such a stark contrast between the 2017 Irish and the 2017 USC Trojans.

The Irish play hard all game long and never give up on a play.

The Trojans just halfa$$ it around the field most of the time.

So, if USC is no good -- and I believe the argument carries some weight -- why are were celebrating an easy victory over them?

Others say the suggestion we might not be at Alabama's level is just idle speculation (never mind how they come up with their own conclusions).

On other threads we have people saying NCST is no good and we'll whip them by three TDs. So what happens if we win by 3 points -- or God forbid, they win?

My take away is it doesn't take long for delusion to set in among Notre Dame fans if the team strings together a few wins or despair to settle in with the slightest bit of adversity.
