2. Ian Book
3. Everett Golson
4. Tommy Rees
5. Brandon Wimbush – Despite his throwing woes, Wimbush was an effective quarterback for the Irish, helping lead them to 10 victories in 2017, the first three of 2018 and a November conquest of Florida State in the absence of an injured Book.
6. Malik Zaire – Who knows how his career would have turned out if not for the injury at Virginia in 2015. Then again, his passing accuracy always was a question mark.
7. Andrew Hendrix – Just never had enough QB talent, instincts to excel before moving on to Miami (Ohio) under former Kelly assistant Chuck Martin.
8. Avery Davis – Didn’t make a mark at quarterback, but still has a chance to impact the offense at running back/slot receiver.
9. Phil Jurkovec – Book’s understudy with great length, a big arm and much to prove in the accuracy department.
10. Luke Massa – Never threatened at QB before moving to receiver.
11. Gunner Kiel
12 Brandon Clark
to be determined—
13 Drew Pyne
14 Tyler Buchner
my thought after reflecting on these is there’s not much high end talent here. Either players we’re not talented, we’re not developed, or just never realized potential
hopefully that changes soon
