That's your play.
There wasn't a throw/ pass option.
Just run with Kizer.
How the f* ck is that the play ?

Agreed. Brutal. More brutal was the fact that we had to pick up 2 there. BK should have NEVER went for 2 when he didn't have to. BASIC RULE OF NOT BEING A COMPLETE DUMB ASS COACH --- NEVER GO FOR 2 WHEN YOU DON'T ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO.

I'm just irritated that they HAD to go for two at that point. Why did he go for two on the earlier TD? didn't make any sense then. Go for two when you NEED to go for two. How hard is that to understand?!?

I hated it too.. at least a sprint out with a pass option. kizer is NOT Malik. ND did not show up until the end. Should have beat these guys by 2 TD's even in the freaking rain. disgusted.

I thought it was a good call. It just wasn't executed well. It looked like we had a missed block on the playside backer. The playcall was well set up from all of the passinrg ND had done as well running the QB sprint out from the same formation.

Always give ur dual threat QB the OPTION to run in those situations not design it...clemson's defense was tired...if he drops backs doesnt see anything then break for the endzone. I would have much rather seen that then what was called. Tough one to swallow but talent doesnt lie ND has it just have to find ways to win ugly games like that.

Kizer owns it. It was a run-pass option...???? Did not look like it. Wonder which Coach called It? ND needed better.

GET BETTER!!!

The same idiot who called for two earlier in the quarter when he didn't have to. The same guy who hires an up and coming OC and then won't let him call plays. Bk has to be in charge of everything. Be a head coach and let the OC call his own damn plays

Kelly sent two plays into kiser. A run and a pass option. It was Kizers call at the line of scrimmage based on lineup. Note it was the same run kizer scored his td on. Don't see anon complaining out that call.

Totally agree -- While Kizer is a good run option, I thought Kelly would have rolled him out to give him some options. ND had not run the ball well all night long -- what made him think he was going to get 3 rough yards in that situation.
However -- this game should not have even come down to that -- yea, Clemson jumped out 14-0, but after that -- they were fortunate that ND turned the ball over and over.
Just hope the turnover flu that lasts for games and games does not bite ND this year.

I thought it was a good call. Our WRs hadn't done anything all night. Procise wasn't getting any yards. Kizer scored on that same play earlier, and easily. I have no problem wiht the call.

Kizer had the option,,,but did not even think about passing. Said he should have lowered his shoulder and the Clemson defender won the play. That kind of situation, where it's game over if you go down,,, should keep as many options alive as long as possible. When he ran into the line it was do or die.

if it went to OT, ND would've shut the crowd up. Son of a...

Hate the loss but here (in South Carolina), there is a lot of talk about Kizer, his composure, determination and at times, how he looked more talented than Watson.

I didn't really mind the call either. Kizer is a strong runner but our guys got no push.

Do you think the defense recognized that play then?
