will fuel a pissed off fire and pull these guys together. There's still a long ways to go and we got a lot of help yesterday with others getting beaten.

This climb is going to be tough, but doable.

Kudos to Yoon.

PS That field was remarkable.

I couldn't believe the field either. I didn't see one divot.

Agreed. I much prefer real grass over the false stuff. Wondering why ND settled on the fake rather than getting some real stuff like Clemson has. Wonder if it has to do with the cold winters up north?

And … notice even towards the end of the game, neither team's unis looked muddy. Wonder if its fake soil under real grass?

I'm trying to get info on their drainage system.

Another poster in cyberspace said it was built to withstand 9 inches of rain per hour and cost millions.

That sounds incredible.

Anyway, I'm wondering if a Clemson fan can shed some light....

It was by far the best field I have ever seen under the circumstances.

I can tell you that when it comes to sod,,, Clemson is the Universal Authority. So, it stands to reason they would have the state of the art. It is a cow college, and maybe that ain't all bad huh....

btw,, there is no way you can grow grass in the frozen N.M.W. like we can in South Carolina. But at this particular moment we are having a massive loss of the earthworm population due to the Biblical Flooding.... dang

We finally put in turf because for decades our grass field sucked. Somehow Purdue can do it, but we can't. I also wonder if the Clemson field is one of those hybrid fields like they have at Lambeau Field and Heinz Field, in which they have real grass with some synthetic stuff mixed in.
