Tarean Folston is off to the NFL.

I thought he would take that route after last season. Good luck TF.

Folston was on his way to stardom before the torn ACL that killed his junior season. he lost that nasty cutting ability and burst he showed in his first two seasons, and never really looked the same afterwards. He's still an above average talent and could make an NFL roster if he works hard to recapture his pre injury form.

He'll be an undrafted PFA. There's no point in playing college ball once you have your degree. It's all about proving himself in an NFL training camp now. My prediction is he'll be on an NFL practice squad all of next season. That $110k. Not bad.

That acl injury was at the beginning of his junior year. He was a complete stud as a sophomore in 2014.

IDK if the knee injury stagnated off season conditioning but he came in too heavy and slow. I think after being spoiled with CJ's and Josh's break away speed it was hard to go back to TF.

Just has to reinvent himself a little bit. Has to become that Michigan State type workhorse back at the next level. Excellent receiver out of the backfield and can line up outside. Thorough understanding of pass blocking and a high IQ kid. He'likes find himself a niche and hang around for a couple years if he stays healthy.

Yea, i forgot to mention just how well he does all the little stuff too. Kind of reminds me of Emmitt Smith in that regard (what made it impossible to take him off the field) .. blocks, catches out of the backfield, patient runner w/ good vision, etc. It's too bad the injuries sapped much of his explosiveness (he had a nice burst and a shifty running style that didn't leave many yards on the field).

But even with all that said ... his 2016 was very disappointing .. Adams and Dexter Williams were clearly the more explosive/athletic players and it wasn't close.

Good luck to him. He's a tweener though.

Not big enough.

No big speed and no big body.

The only saving grace might be a part time role if he can catch ... but BK never utilized him catching so he either can't or BK is just an idiot we all know.

Good luck to him.
