Swarbrick breaks his silence

What silence did he break.. The article literally has no information.. just bunch of words to fill up space..
He's just beating around the bush with bullshit instead of answering the questions asked..

OK, so it made it clear that the buyout was an obstacle, but did not stop them... in fact, he said that Ludwig, or no other candidate was formally offered. One can only conclude that Parker was Freeman's first choice. Therefore, if that hire does not work out... Freeman should be on the hook. So, while protecting himself, he put Freeman on the hook in front of the public.

WEAK” ?

Are you all out of your minds ?

Swarbrick was clear, ND was ready, willing and able to pay the Buy-Out !

Then Swarbrick goes on to state that ND is in the top 10 nationally in terms of compensating the coaching staff.

All of which proves that all of the morons who insisted that ND would not pay the buy-out were dead wrong.

The question is:
Does Golson5 and the other morons who constantly insisted that ND wouldn‘t pay the buy-out have the character to admit that they were dead wrong.

Let’s see !

This ignominious gaffe is and will forever define Swarbrick's LEGACY at Notre Dame. The only way he can overcome this total embarrassment is to have ND win a National Championship on his watch. Prediction: never gonna happen.

Irish breakdown stated that Jack said no and then went back and tried to get Ludwig a day or two later. By that time he felt snuffed and had already pledged back to Utah. The night at the hockey game he told freeman he was coming assuming ND would cover the buy out. Freeman assumed Jack would pull through so they posed for pics. Jack pushed back and tried to play hardball with $$, so Ludwig felt he wasn’t being welcomed at ND. The fans and media flipped out when it wasn’t going to be Ludwig so Jack tried to offer to pay it. By that time he was already home. So, both the fans and Jack are accurate in their stories. The devil is in the details for which, unfortunately, Jack was not completely forthcoming.

It seemed like Freeman’s introduction of new OC was sort of “let’s surround the wagons”. But reaching out to candidate after he left sounded almost desperate. Agreed we’ll never know what happened or who screwed up but someone clearly did. At times it seems like Marcus is the only one that steps up and takes accountability. Unfortunately accountability today seems more like a blame game.

Freeman’s response sounded very familiar to that of Weis and then Kelly, when similar questions were asked of them, essentially that “I’ve received everything I’ve ever asked of the AD and/or President.” With each passing year between National Champion wins, one begins to wonder.
