Sun Bowl!!!!

I went to the Sun bowl in 2017. The town takes a lot of pride in it and the tailgating will be fun. Drinking beer while looking at the mountains before the game. The atmosphere will be great and you’ll enjoy El Paso. It’s a great bowl game and feels very festive. Any of you guys complaining about it either don’t appreciate college football or have been spoiled.

What? Everyone on here said ND was heading to the playoffs after the OSU loss.

ND has nothing. Spoiled? What the hell has ND won in 30 years

At least I can watch the game on CBS. How did espms get to have so many bowl games???

We are playing an 8-4 pac team who will be without their starting QB. Going to be a real thriller the entire country will be watching at the edge of their seat.

Sun Bowl is one of the best non-major bowl games. Cool stadium, always a day game, the town gets into it. Much better than than playing in a baseball stadium.
The Sun Bowl was played the year they did not even have a tv contract correct? That is what makes a real bowl.

Most of ESPN's bowls are just exhibition games sponsored by ESPN. They would not exist outside of the mouse.

All you do is complain. Nothing that happens satisfies you.

Do you enjoy that?

I'm completely uninspired by this game. But then again, I need to learn to curb my enthusiasm for bowl games anymore because half the kids sit out. Its nothing more than a glorified scrimmage to make everyone some money. I miss the good old days when the bowls were meaningful... lol.

I'd probably be more interested if we drew a more interesting opponent. Was really hoping we'd get LSU... haha.

Bill, I was sitting here reading one complaint after another, damn it was a fun season with an exciting up n coming coach.
Miserable is no way to go thru life

2010 it was the cold, snowy and overcast bowl. And ND kicked Miami’s ass up and down the field.
By all accounts everyone had a great time. BK ended the rough season by snapping the streak against SC and sort of rebooting the rivalry with Miami. Add in a star studded recruiting class and everyone felt we were on the right road for 9 months.

Well it depends when you clock the good ole days. For a long time bowls were seen as commercial exhibitions that had nothing to do with the season. It seems that some of the players didn't take them incredibly seriously either.
