Phil Jurkovec might have felt a little bit out of place this past weekend when he threw alongside the nation's top high school juniors at the Rivals Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour, but just because the 2018 quarterback and prized Notre Dame commit struggled at times inside the Georgia Dome doesn’t mean that he won't be elite one day. Former Notre Dame offensive coordinator Peter Vaas offers up his thoughts on the rising junior.

interesting arm mechanics.. looks like he is almost "pushing" the ball out of his hand...

if you watch,,he throws with the same motion whether it is deep or intermediate.
With coaching, one of the likely tweeks will be to get his hips into the throw, more torque (rotation) to add to his arm strength. Good thing to note is he does not need a wind up to get the ball out.
