Looks like BK going to LSU might have been the best thing for both programs. BK already racked up 2 top wins in only his first year. Freeman got one last night. What a crazy outcome. I was at the LSU game last night. What an experience. Cant wait to see what the Future brings with Freeman

The whole Top 5 / Top 10-win thing, is just message board BS to justify promoting a coach, or running down a coach?

Is it where they are ranked when you play them?
Is it if they were ranked in the Top 5/10 at any point in the season?
Is it where they are ranked in the final CFP polls?

ND started the season #5, two weeks later they were 0-2 and out of the rankings, Does Ohio State lay claim to a win over a Top 5 team?

Just add up the W's & L's, they rest is just coffee house subjective nonsense

fair points

So what are your excuses for the bad LSU losses this year?
1st year which figured to be the hardest with all the knew people and culture change. The vols loss doesnt look as bad. Not sure anyone other than Georgia can stop them. Look what they did to Bamas D.

Brian kelly has done an amazing job in Year 1 despite 2 losses.

It is where the team is ranked today. Which, of course, may change.

So, Ohio State got credited with a win over a ranked ND in the first week of the season. Lost that credit in October. And will likely regain that credit this week.
