They'll be lucky to finish top 25In recruiting. When's the last time that happened?
New head coach Troy Taylor has an outstanding reputation coaching offense, and has a verbal from a damn good 2024 QB.In recruiting. When's the last time that happened?
A colleagues son played there recently he was one of the top OL in PA … I am not sure if ND offered him, can’t remember. Good genes, brother was a starting QB at Big 10 school and sister was a D1 swimmer, dad and mom both D1 athletes as well.New head coach Troy Taylor has an outstanding reputation coaching offense, and has a verbal from a damn good 2024 QB.
Given Stanford's admission standards, I am surprised at anything they accomplish in recruiting. They can't recruit a good chunk of the Rivals top 250, so the top 25 would be a good recruiting season.
Don't buy thatShaw had said he was only able to offer a handful of top 100 guys and they don’t take EE’s. And I think you need to finish jr year before they’ll offer. It’s remarkable they’re ever competitive
What part of it? Think the EE’s and grades through jr yr maybe accurate. I went back and counted offers, ( no way of knowing commitable vs non), not a ton but more then a handful. I looked at a 5 yr period and they offered 47 5 stars, northwestern was at 18. We were at 115, USC and Ok at 110. Ga was at 173. Not sure how they’ve used the portal I’ll have to look at that. So, no doubt Shaw was talking his book but there are challenges there.Don't buy that

Very truea major difference between Stanford and ND is that football has NEVER been anywhere near as important there.
So you are never going to get the support from the admin, fans and alumni that Notre Dame football gets.
how many 95+ recruits? In recruiting. When's the last time that happened?
David Shaw was paid 9.0 million by Stanford last season. A top 5 head coach salary in CFB in 2022. So to say the Stanford administration does not support football is simply wrong.a major difference between Stanford and ND is that football has NEVER been anywhere near as important there.

Everyone and everything is hated by someone in this day and age.nobody doesn’t like Stanford

And there it is. They have just ONE recruit over 95 on the Compositehow many 95+ recruits?
another skimmer not a reader. So what if they pay for the coach but do not put much else out there to support the program. Do you get it now? Compared to Notre Dame, just how much does the coach get as regards help from the rest of the school, the alumni and the fan base? Care to answer that question?
The Stanford where the law studentes screamed at a federal judge for not believing a sex offender could declare himself of woman? Or the administration that cancelled a street named after Catholic missionary Juniper Serra?nobody doesn’t like Stanford
100.Everyone and everything is hated by someone in this day and age.

Let’s separate athletics from politics, and let’s not forget that we covered up murals of Columbus given to ND about 150 years agoThe Stanford where the law studentes screamed at a federal judge for not believing a sex offender could declare himself of woman? Or the administration that cancelled a street named after Catholic missionary Juniper Serra?
hmmmm! now, I doesn’t like Stanford! The Stanford where the law studentes screamed at a federal judge for not believing a sex offender could declare himself of woman? Or the administration that cancelled a street named after Catholic missionary Juniper Serra?

Stanford is #9 because they have a huge amount - 24 - of recruits right now but their average per recruit is 87.65 which is so-so. They'll start dropping like a rock when others start filling their classes. Why is this so hard for some to understand? With 24 recruits, they're just about done with their class.
nobody doesn’t like Stanford
Are you as stupid as you sound? Are you really claiming that Stanford Football enjoys the kind of support that it does at ND or Alabama? Are you REALLY SAYING ITS EVEN CLOSE?Sure,
1. it all starts at the top with attracting the best coaching talent by paying them well.
That’s a strong commitment.
2. Your premise is flawed.
Tell us what Stanford doesn’t do to “support the program”
3. Notre Dame has a storied program, one that’s like no other, ergo almost everyone pales in comparison when it comes to alumni support and the fan base.
In terms of fan base and support today, are you aware that home games are no longer automatic sell outs
Evidently, you lack any semblance of reading comprehension skills. Are you as stupid as you sound? Are you really claiming that Stanford Football enjoys the kind of support that it does at ND or Alabama? Are you REALLY SAYING ITS EVEN CLOSE?
You blather about proof. Do you need proof that the sun exists? Because its about the same thing but I guess you cannot see it.
