With a QB like Ziare running the offense and the lack of experienced depth at the RB position, is it possible we could see Luatua used the way Lutzenkirchen was used at Auburn during their Championship year in our similar style offense.
He's already a solid blocker with ability to catch a pass out of the backfield.
This formation would also open up playing time for more prototypical pass catchers ND is use to seeing.
I'm not trying to play coach I'm just asking if you have seen anything like this in practice.
