The Chicago Blackhawks drafted a kid who is going to be a frosh @ ND and will
play hockey, I think his name is Graham Knott. The 'announcers' stated that
ND will be a good learning ground for Knott until he is ready to play with the Hawks.
The question I have is: How long do the Hawks have the 'rights' to Knott ? 2yrs ? 3yrs ?
4 yrs ?
I'm thinking also, let's say up to 4 yrs, how would this fit for the NBA ? A team would
get the 'rights' to a kid, but the kid could still get his college education, maybe with a stipend
while he is going to school ?
Go Irish !!
