To the rumors I'm seeing online that Michael Deeb and Mike Heuerman will get medical scholarships? I totally understand with MH given his injury issues, but I don't remember ever hearing Deeb was having trouble staying healthy.
I am not one who thinks ND would push kids off or try to run them off because of medical reasons, given the examples of Collinsworth and Baratti alone. AC came back for a 5th year despite his injury and had to leave early after just a few plays and was never the same the rest of the year; Baratti played as a freshman in 2012 against Michigan (seems like forever ago) and has had shoulder problems ever since, but both he and AC were asked back/are on the roster.
Granted, safety depth last year and LB depth this year are very different, but I wondered if you expected those medical announcements on Thursday at BK opening presser?
