Now that the renovations are nearing completion its incredible how massive it now appears to it's former configuration. New concession stands and renovated bathrooms are a welcome improvement. If you were an anti-renovation individual you apparently never had to use the old restrooms. Job well done. The place is amazing. ( parking lots nicely upgraded as well with nice lighting)

Did they get rig of the trough? If so I expect longer lines....the most efficient system out there in my opinion....

The old bathrooms were fine. No lines. No waiting. Plenty of room. Heated. Enough stalls to hide in for the smokers and tokers. The United Center has exquisite facilities but no one wanted to hang out in there. The problem with the concessions is the blah boring food and the way it is prepped. Of course, the good stuff is all outside with the tailgates. With that said, any renovation to bring our facilities to the 21st century is a good thing. When I first start attending games, the stadium was in the out skirts of campus with nothing really around it. I have several Polaroids of the stadium taken from the outside and it looks dreary.

I am waiting for the side line renovations, come on Jack, make it happen.
Sigh only wishful thinking.

Yeah, I am a trough fan too. Far and away the most efficient system to get people in and out.

From what I saw in TV (and a limited view of that) -- was the cut out for the visitors to enter/exit the field. That looks to be a lot more efficient for both teams.

the visitors tunnel looks like the players are going to have to file threw one at a time. For the large players they may have to fit threw side ways.

Anything new come out of the ushers meeting that us fans need to be aware of for the 2017 season?

We are getting rid of the yellow vests and getting polo shirts from what I understand. There also is going to be a new security firm taking over the bag check and things of that nature. The seating is a little different. Instead of the section starting in the middle of the row, seat #1 will be on the aisle and it will run aisle to aisle. There also will be 4 less seats per row, from 30 to 26 seats. (corner sections are a little different) Each person gets an extra 2 inches. Flag pole will be moved to the south end of the stadium. The visiting band will be in the upper bowl southeast corner. There will be no more seats for fans on the field.
