is it just me or were special teams really sound today. Minus yoon they played good. Think polian is a great hire for special teams. Kind of a unit gets no credit when play good but if play bad......

Special Teams were good but not perfect. They let one long KO return go for nice yardage because of a missed tackle and you had the two missed FGs. BK is not concerned and neither am I.

I think the punt and kickoff teams were good defensively. The return teams did not do much for me. I thought Sanders was going to break off a long one on the initial return but he went down so easily I was a little stunned.

Another benefit of Kelly's off-season re-evaluation of the program. Hire Polian and put a renewed emphasis on a historically, under-performing aspect of our game.

Why it took so long blows my mind. It was obvious ST wasn't a priority in years past. Better late than never, I guess.
