Finke has 6 guys around him every punt.
CJ Sanders getting tackled inside the 15 on kickoffs.
Stanford getting good yardage on punt returns.
The field position and hidden yards in huge in games like these.
Our special teams got worked vs Ohio State in 2015 Bowl Game.

What has Polian improved? I understand he’s the recruiting coordinator and a good recruiter but these special teams are certainly “ special”

Yep a lot of "hidden" yardage ND gives up by having such poor special teams play. Starting on your 35 is a lot different than staring inside your 15.

Agree when we kick off our tacklers are 10 yards further back than any other team I have seen this year. Meanwhile sanders can't get to the 15
