Some things don't change

The problem is we hardly blow out any team. This is the norm, not an anomaly. Disappointing and boring game. Ah well, 21 point win looks better on paper than in actuality at least.

Surprised at. Offense . Only about 170 yards after 3 quarters.

Seems the senior day game is always a struggle, style wise. Lots of distractions and the emotion of playing your last game ever at ND stadium, and the challenge of getting up for a heavy underdog, all converge to produce games that tend to disappoint. I'm just happy to walk away injury free (hope) with a three touchdown win. I've said almost weekly that Kizer is playing great, but has lots of room for improvement with the timeliness of his progressions, etc... And the active WF Defense caused Kizer some problems with this, and that's a great opportunity for his continued development. The OL on the other hand, looked to be walking through the game more often than not.

Always an excuse to play down to these 2 start talent!! New Strength coach?? We can't pancake 6'1 250 lb DT?? NO explosion in our OL and the only pass rush is through blitzing and once again poor tackling!

You mean like being 9-1 and ranked #4... Or going undefeated at home again. Or playing without: starting QB, starting RB, Backup RB, Starting Nose Tackle, Starting LB, Starting TE...

And still winning by three TDs? (It was a frustrating game to watch but I'll take the W and go after BC next week!)

Ohhhh, the old you're a POS for voicing some very serious concerns with this team. If the team plays like today against a better team it's most likely a loss. Got the win as expected and move on to the next one.

This game was a ND blowout in comparison with a lot of other games today. Clemson. Ok.State, Michigan. While I didn't like the game plan, a 21 point victory is impressive and WF defense was pretty good.

Wake and BC are offensively challenged and have good defenses. ND basically had a 3 score lead for most of the game.

Brian Kelly is going to keep it close to vest until Stanford. Then he'll open that playbook up and use it cover to cover. Read Sun Tzu the Art of War.

I knew the dumb drunks would be keyboard Calvary'ing tonight. How sad.....we are in the NC hunt for the 2nd time in 4 years and these know it all guys are typing up a storm while the plaque builds up in the chest cavity........Elizabeth...here I come!!

Playing down to the level of competition. Shocked, just shocked. Not.
ND plays sluggish on almost every Senior Day. It's been that way seemingly forever. But, it was a three-TD win.

Wake played to limit the number of times ND would be on offense. If you noticed, they ran the play clock down almost every time.

The team is 9-1 and I don't understand the need to complain, but with this board if the score was 99-7 somebody would complain that it wasn't a shutout.

I didn't have an issue with the performance. Wake was playing the burn on ND, running the clock down to 1 on every play. They wanted to shorten the game. I thought the defense played well. The OLine had their worse game of the year but I heard another poster say that several of them are nursing injuries.
