Since we don't have 35 (God do I miss him more everyday) and the Golson thing is getting old to look at. Here is a couple of Recruiting notes

1. 4* DE Josh King (Darrien, IL 6'6" 250 LBS) Number 6 S-Defensive End, Number 1 player in Illinois has put ND in his final five, Crystal Ball has him at MSU, however ND, PSU, Michigan, and USC are the other schools. Being recruited by Denbrock, and Elston

2. Class of 17' Greg Johnson possibly number 1 CB offered, 5-10 185lbs. being recruited by Denbrock took an unofficial visit on April 24th During a 7 on 7 tourny. Currently he is the Number 42 player in the class nationally, Number 2 athlete nationally, and number 8 prospect from California for class of 2017

3. Coach Denson talked to Cycoby Burch (3* 6-1 190LBS class of 16' S) 'Notre Dame would be a school I would have interest in if they offered. I am enjoying the process and it's nice to have some offers, so I am not waiting for them.' Crystal ball has WVU in the lead. However there is plenty of time.

4. Irish make the cut on Woody Barrett (4* 6-2 225lbs. QB) Number 6 Dual Threat QB, Number 30 player from Florida. Top 5 are VTech, ND, OleMiss, Alabama, Oklahoma. Comes from the same high school as incoming freshman RB for ND Dexter Williams is from.

5. Lastly, Number 1 class of 16' from Indiana, Weak-Side DE (4* 6'5, 230lbs.) Auston Robertson has ND on his list of finals. He will commit on June 7th and his picks are: ND, MSU (the two front runners), and Michigan. He recently ruled Ohio State out.

Someone else has to take over this job. To many links to look at, at once :)

Nice job, IB Appreciated Please get Auston on board. In light of 35's absence, you might get challenged with a gauntlet by Continually to land Auston. It is a complement - in a way -

I will say this. If we can get 35 to find a way to become comfortable with the board. It is so much easier to pass on information, video, links, etc on this board vs the last one. And he could let the links, and the videos do much of the work for him.

Although I do understand the challenges of that. And we will need someone to become the 'recruiting' guy here soon :)

Also here is another link. It is to South Bend 'Sports Beat' The local Sports show. Every Thursday Tyler James does a recruiting update.
