Says I didn’t stop at stop sign. Well some ass clown was coming my way and had stopped in right hand lane. I needed to see past him. Hence I got a warning. But cop was a Ped state fan.
I asked him where’s his white out

He says “I see u r a ND fan (logo on car)
I say “what u think of your coach?”

He makes excuse “he does a lot with what he has”

I wanted to say “your coach sucks eggs”

But there was a ticket in the balance

He says” Freeman has underperformed”

I wanted to say “wtf do u know?”
But there was a ticket in the balance

So I left with a warning although I wanted to say “how’s your subscription to child porn?”

But there was a ticket in the balance
🥱

That’s the conversation you chose to have when you were pulled over by the police ?

Was the warning for driving while stupid ?

Fun!

Ski: Pat) has a point. But, many years ago, I was having a bad day - 1-10 - it was a 10!
I Was going out to meet a friend, a block from my house, I failed to stop at a stop sign, got
pulled over, Cop asked why I did not stop, he was very polite and added, the sign is poorly located and
poorly lighted.
I replied, “no officer, I am having a shit day! I saw the sign, but just blew it off! What’s more, my car is 3 months past inspection! My license expired 4 months ago and my registration expired 3 months ago!
The officer, feeling my exasperation, showing concern, simply told me to get to DMV; to get things resolved, stop by the police station and show him. I did as he asked, expressed my appreciation for his understanding.

I was lucky, I don’t expect that kind of compassion again.

WOW, that is a bad day, but with a nice ending

Years ago, a police officer who was a good friend of mine gave me good advice.
He said that the best bet was to NOT make up any excuses, and just admit to whatever you were doing wrong.

Not long ago, I was stopped for doing 45 in a 25, going down to steep hill
When the officer asked me if I knew how fast I was going, I told him, “ whatever you clocked me at Officer”. After some further discussion he told me to slow down and have a nice day.
I thanked him, wished him a nice day and told him to stay safe.

They have a difficult job.
What really shocks me is the amount of disrespect that’s directed toward them, especially by people who have done something wrong.

One of my staff has a son who is a state trooper.
Recently, he told me that he pulled someone over who was doing 90 mph in a 60 zone.
They were belligerent , denied speeding and accused him of pulling them over for non-traffic violation related reasons. They never know if the person they are pulling over and any passengers has any warrants, is a felon or is armed !

They deserve our support

Mine asked if I knew why he pulled me over. I said, yeah, I was doing 50 in a 30. I wasn’t paying attention and missed the speed change. He gave me a ticket, told me to meet him at court and he’d help me out. Showed up and he said it’ll be a parking ticket($25). Nice guy

I dunno....sounds like this officer realized how much paperwork he was in for with this laundry list. Maybe he just did himself a favor and had a donut and coffee instead?
