First of all I feel terrible for TF and I hope he's doing okay mentally and emotionally.

Jarron Jones, TF and many other players from other teams get these ACL and MCL injuries and are lost for the year. If you look at the play TF was injured on, there was nothing unusual about the run. My question therefore is as follows; If the injury can happen on such a routine play, why doesn't it happen more often?

just before TF got hit he seemed to be avoiding another defender. He may have put his foot down awkwardly from that move as he got tackled. I agree it was a routine tackle. ( On TV it may have been illusion that the 1st guy was closer than he actualy was)

don't know

have to ask god or mother nature

knee ligament injuries are fickle; may tear when planting and pivoting wrong; may remain intact when all sorts of tremendous forces are involved, like a car accident.

I have no idea. I remember Dayne Crist was essentially running down field when he tore his.

It just seems so random. Adams made a cutback on his first TD run and nothing happened to him thankfully.
