SC down to WMU

The good news is we could not play worse...ever. 6-8 dropped passes. Around 100 yards or so of penalties.Allowed a kick return. San threw 2 picks. We dropped an easy pick. Lost contain about a dozen times. If we were playing you we lose by four TDs,

Only good news: we have a blind long snapper and he got to play.

Beach... having a blind long snapper play is the best feel good story this first week in college football. Reflects well on USC.

Even better than most know. PC had the kid at games when he was 10 or so. He has been with the team longer than the coaches.

You realize that for some of us, that's kinda all good news, right?

The story about the Olson kid is pretty cool. I caught the video. Good stuff.

Beach, back when I was in college (a small "Div-3" team in the DC), we had a deaf - blind center. Played all 4 years and was a starter during his last 2 years. He could see a little bit during his college days, but was still classified as legally blind. Became completely blind a few years after braduation, but that didn't stop him ... went on to earn a PhD, played golf, went snow skiing, etc, etc. Really an amazing guy. Hope Jake turns out the same.

That's amazing, shows you the relationship between attitude and ability. Attitude wins 10-1. It was moving seeing Jake lead the band after the game. He did at 12 years old as a young fan. Now he returns as a player.
