Gotta show Sam some love. If you rewatch the UGA game, you'll see Sam missing a ton of assignments. He's a big reason why we never got the run game going that day. Sam has shown more improvement in the last 6 games than any other player on the team (even Coney).

how do you know what his assignments were on every given play ? guaranteed no one here has that answer. if you did you'd have a playbook.

Mustipher has improved tremendously from a year ago at this time when even snapping the ball correctly was in his head...

You could make the argument that any of those guys could be deemed the most improved player on the team as well if you think about where they were a year ago.

The grander point is that so many players have made a huge leap from a year ago. That's one of the key reasons the team is so much better.

Four of those five guys play defense.

We finally have a defensive coach (and assistants, thank you Elston!) who are teachers.

Unless Sam was trying to block the wrong guy, he was beat repeatedly against UGA. Watch the replay and focus on Sam. Only you would take my original post and try to start a argument about it. Go back to coaching the girls track team.

Not trying to start an argument. It's like the dopes at pro football focus giving grades to o linemen like they know what protections have been called or what player has what responsibility. As a long time coach comments like yours grind my gears. None of us here know those things. I think comments like that are unfair to the player.

Again, watch the tape.

It is true. That would be an incredibly tough vote and there might not be a clear winner. Anyone know who votes on it? My vote has gone to Coleman so far.

And as hoped and predicted, he will be back next season!! Declared that today after practice - awesome news.

You left out Drue Tranquill, who is clearly loving his new rover position. Other than that, we're in complete agreement
