This game is over and has been for a while. uNC’s inept offense posed no threat to us. The coaches are looking ahead to teams that are much better than UNC, teams that will force us out of our comfort zone.
The kid is hurt. He's playing through a leg injury. Would you rather have him healthy for USC in two weeks after the bye, or run him just to say you did and make the injury worse and have him in the same gimpy shape when the Trojans come to town?

341 rush yards. No need in wearing Adams out and significantly injuring him against an overmatched opponent. Especially with Jones, Williams, and even McIntosh.
