Add a top arm to the Irish Invasion visitors list. Frostproof (Fla.) Lake Wales four-star quarterback Xavier Gaines told Blue & Gold Illustrated this morning at the Rivals Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour that he plans to be South Bend on June 19 for the Irish Invasion.
Gaines, who is ranked as the No. 8 dual-threat quarterback in the country, says he will also see Florida this month. The 6-3, 219-pound quarterback said he has been keeping in contact with Irish assistant coach and area recruiter Autry Denson.
