Are people melting down? They must not follow the team closely. He was fourth string and in some kind of confidence funk. Skipping passes from 15 yards. Hope the kids lands on his feet.
Oh I see. I did misinterpret. Thanks for clarifying. You misinterpreted the comment. He was referring to the fact that every time WE lose a player, this board has a melt down. He was pointing out that every school loses players.
When was the last time the board had a melt down?
When Greenberry sent his LOI to Houston in February of 2012. My original screen name was banned that day haha. I had stated for months leading up to that that he would never suit up for ND. Wax hated when people were right.
Happens to every program! Not every fan base melts down like Chernobyl.
gipper
Hayes is and has been being heavily recruited by ND; commitment notwithstanding, this one is a battle!
He is growing into a DE now at about 6'4 and 250ish.
A prime ND target who will visit.
Pers, thanks for the response. I know ND is recruiting him. But he keeps saying he is solid.
My question is more related to the relationship between he and Town. And will this affect his future. I know he had family that were not thrilled with him moving the a CA high school, which is why he is back home now.
My understanding is that Hayes is close to Town. I don't think Town transfer was from the demands of school, he just couldn't perform and began to force it. A bit like the catcher who can't throw the ball back to the pitcher. He needed a fresh start. It wasn't just he or the parents thought he was losing his shot at the bigs.maybe beach can comment on this:
but I see a recent trend where parents of kids at the schools that have little accountability or discipline have had issues dealing with the intensity of the NFL rigors and discipline; that the work requirement is a shocker: hence the troubles begin. I do not think they are just being responsible parent, but instead looking out for their 'investment'! ka-ching is the brass ring!

Today Hayes said it would not impact him. I have no idea if that is just for appearance or not at this point. If I hear something inside I will report if I can;.My question had nothing to do with academic demands, or for that matter football demands.
I was wondering if the fact that Hayes and Town/Town's family could affect his staus as a commit.
He always stated he was solid, but seems to keep speaking with other schools.
No...they loved itAny truth to the rumor that Town wasn't happy with the house that USC bought his parents?
I heard the picture window in the living room had a great view, overlooking the financial shenanigans that went into its financing.Any truth to the rumor that Town wasn't happy with the house that USC bought his parents?
huh?I heard the picture window in the living room had a great view, overlooking the financial shenanigans that went into its financing.
It's a tad cryptic and breaking it down on an intellectual chalkboard would ruin the entire concept.huh?
I got it. Outside their window was a lineup of USC song girls pulling money out of their uniforms after a group of USC alums dropped by.Dude no one followed that outside of you suggesting funny business in LA
Well... I get your are attributing Lloyd Lake renting Reggie's family a house as an incentive for Reggie to leave SC early and sign with him and suggesting that SC did that instead of Lake. I get the theme but the context? You've lost me.It's a tad cryptic and breaking it down on an intellectual chalkboard would ruin the entire concept.
No, it was strictly a verbal joke and not based on anything specific that might have transpired. Think of the double meaning of "overlooking," which can either signify "providing a view of" or "not paying attention to." That's all I have to say on the matter.Well... Town is a good qb. He just thought usc was becoming more of a combo offense rather than a straight pro style. They recruited sam darnold, matt fink, tate martel and tua tagavailoa who are all dual threat qb's. Plus he was already behind kessler, browne and even darnold. And then they started giving darnold a lot of first team reps and were running a lot more plays with qb movement. But he is a very good pro style qb. Hayes says he still loves usc. No idea if that is true.Happens to every program! Not every fan base melts down like Chernobyl.
