Good for him. Hopefully he can develop into a great coach. WE need more ND alums who become great coaches. It'd be nice to have a good pool of former ND players who turn into great coaches.

Tommy was a guest host on one of the official ND Football post game shows last season. He was fantastic. Very articulate and completely knew his stuff. I believe he will move up in the coaching ranks and be very successful. It is interesting because during the show, Jack Nolan asked Tommy if he would be interested in coaching and Tommy said no. He said he was working in the travel industry and he was happy. As an outsider I will say Tommy belongs in the teaching / coaching profession. Lots of knowledge. Lots of experience.

ND pedigree and a Dad in the biz will help him get beyond he GA role in the not to distant future IMO.

Would be nice if Tommy devoted himself to coaching, became the next Urban, but kept ND as his dream job, and became a great ND coach ?
In any case, one can hope ?
