Well, I think we have 5 or 6 spots left, so to fil up we'd have to land 50% of the names listed, which I'd be thrilled with. Don't think Hansford can get in and doubt Corley comes either. So essentially we'd have to land 6 of the other 10. I wouldn't be shocked if some other names pop up. I would think someone like that Morris kid that de committed from MSU is a name to keep an eye on.

There is always the kid who decommits from elsewhere to ND; hopefully a DL.

Morris wants to be on offense.

Would love Calib Kelly. Really impressive player. Davis would be Santa's special gift. We need LB help. These 2 + Hayes could be program changers. Defense could then well cover for B. Kelly's terrible offensive play calling and over all game management. Hopefully Kizer can carry BK next year to promised land.

Kelly's terrible offensive play calling? Sigh.....zzzzzzzzzzz...........welcome ignore feature.....

* Checks Top 20, sees Kirk Ferentz is still in there, goes back to the real world
Way too much Kool-Aide. Ferentz has far less talent to work with. As a game manager, strategic game planner, Kelly is terrible. How many examples do you need? Let's try the last game with Alabama - he prepared and managed that well. Right?

Not saying he is the best in the top 20 or even in the top half of the coaches in the top 20 right not when it comes to game planning and making adjustments but to say he is the worst... welp

Realistically... Give me

1. Two of Pride, Fuller, Hamlin and Studstill
2. ONE of Kelly, McCollough or Davis (unlikely)
3. Javon McKinley

And flip a kid or two to fill the inevitable void caused by a "flip" or "academic casualty" that always seems to occur towards the end of ND's recruiting cycle. I'm quite ok with ND being 2-3 under 85 man roster come February. Personally I would offer the following players 5th years...

1. Avery Sebastien (technically a 6th year)
2. C.J. Prosise (may forgo for the NFL)
3. Nicky Barrati
4. Jarron Jones

I am also in favour of finding another 1-2 5th year transfer candidates that can help at positions of need. Preferably an experienced safety and defensive end if possible.

I was playing around with 247 class calculat and added fuller, Robertson, Kelly and McKiney and it gave ND the number 1 class. One can dream.

No way Baratti should be brought back.Aa much as I like him, I don't value wasting a schollie on an oft injured player. The other 3 ,yes.

IIO
Barratti? He has done nothing. Been injured. Do not see this one being worth the 5th year

Surprised Fuller is listed as a Defensive Player-----he could be an excellent WR too.

If he's a Safety he gives us coverage skills at a position we sorely lack them.

Played in the same HS Conference as Trumbetti.

has anybodyread any tweets or just heard in general so any info on how things are going with all the recruits on campus right now for there official. only thing I heard was last night when some on another board was saying that 5 star LB caleb Kelly saying on social media somewhere that the campus was nuts

Caleb Kelly saying on social media that ND campus was nuts ? Where is this post? And in what way was the ND campus nuts???

Kelly sent Tom Loy a text that said "this place is nuts" as you said, other than that nothing else. I imagine that's a good thing. His mom also took a pic of him and fuller together. Looked to be enjoying themselves.

all I can say is that someone on another board saw him post about the campus being nut on twitter. I amagine he meant nuts in a good way as al he's had to compare notre dame is the Oklahoma campus and that crap stain of a campus up in ann arbor

yeah D_Master I just read elsewhere that Kelly said that he hasn't talked to Michigan in a while so this really does seem to be a two horse race of our irish and the sooners. also just a tweet from recruiting insider Anna Hickey that said McCollough now has list of five schools that he'll be choosing from at the all-star game and those schools are notre dame, Stanford, texas. texas a&m, florida

I just jokingly tweeted McCollough that I see ND is listed first and this was probably a subtle way of listing his 5 in order and he liked the tweet I sent. Don't know if he justs likes what everyone says or not, but saw on another site that Texas fans think that is his 5 in order. would be HUGE. Also I saw that Kelly asked if him and Hayes would be competing head to head for time and was told he could be put in any LB spot based on need. I almost don't want to say it out loud, but I think we are a real darkhorse to land Kelly in the end.
