Not one OL recruited rated in the top 400 for 2018.

There are still some big names on the table -- and a couple of others committed to programs in a tailspin.

We're losing two to the NFL this year and probably two the following year.

Any reason for this momentary downturn?

We took a total of 8 OL in the 2016 and 2017 classes, so the two this year would make 10 over three classes. My guess is we are not done with OL in this '18 class. Will add at least one more.

I've read that this is a relatively weak class for OL, and that the following year is supposed to be significantly better. Accordigly, Harry has been very selective in going after a select few, and these are among the elites that don't commit until the season is over. Salyer and Petit-Frere are the two studs he would take in a heartbeat, but doubt either comes our way. My bet is that the two commits we do have will be in the top 250 by season's end, if not already.

Not that we can really stand a lull period in any position but if there was one for this coming class it's the OL. Between what we got and red shirt possibilities we are OK here.

Now D Line on the other hand is constantly a glaring need.
Can never ever get enough Tuitts, Nix, days etc.

Or O-lineman! The reason we are dominating this season is because of our offensive line filled with future NFL players (like in 2012.) HH is the NFL O-line whisperer.

Come on, fellas. Want to get a college degree, want to play on Sundays, then quit and get a big $$$$$ job on Wall Street?????

Come to South Bend. We offer one important thing...

The future.
