Good morning all its let's than week before kickoff!! I usually don't start a thread at all but I wanna to try something out! There is always a constant debate about the star system but I wanted to go another direction! Very simply, who on this board has ever been recruited or was part of a recruitment of a family member? No right or wrong answer, just will maybe shed some light where each posters experience in the matter!! Also you don't have to have been recruited to fully understand what a kid, his family, and coaches are coming from!! Just a window into each others experience!! For me I was recruited in football in 1978 to a couple of smaller schools in the south!! I also got a 1st hand viewing of a very good friend by every major school in the country! He went to play for Jackie Sherrill at A&M. Played 10 yrs for the Jets!! OK guys go for it!!
