Kizer filled in nicely it wasn't like Zaire was doing anything this game. I'm more concerned with the fact our secondary couldn't cover their own shadow and the play calling is shit. Gotta be ready for Tech Saturday.

Red Zone, Field Goals, short yardage, zero conversions on 3rd down, Secondary not good, lost starting RB and QB for season, facing an opponent who scores at will with a HC who has a major grudge against ND. This is going to be rough. Lord have mercy.

I think CJ and Fuller are legit playmakers . Now the bad part .. who else? Seriously get this Amir off the KR . He is flat out awful . All we kept read was how great Hunter Jr was in the Pre season. Where is he ????? Brown is decent. They Moved Brent from WR to RB ???? Why ????Robinson is mediocre at best . These guys cannot get open vs UVA . Not good. I am very happy to see them win but I was very disappointed with the WR's all day. No one made a play besides Fuller. If the Frosh WRs are better put em in. Get Carlisle off the slot put in CJ Sanders . They really need a threat on the jet sweep because Procise is going to be keyed now without Malik. This is going to get tough.
Bingo! 0 for 10 on third down. Your line is suppose to be the teams strength. This team has some real issues. Texas was fools gold. Before the season began they had plenty of depth. All of a sudden they have none. That will be a major problem as the season goes forward.
I don't want to be an offense that depends on the big play all the time. I want to be methodical. Move the ball along. Convert short yardage. Don't leave points on the field.
I'm ecstatic we got the win. A win on the road at a D1 school is always phenomenal especially if its ND because there is always a target painted on our back. Is anyone else sick of us wasting timeouts especially on the first drive because the play clock is about to run out? I don't hate Kelly but that needs to be rectified. And our secondary got shredded. Something on the defensive side of the ball must change.

Pretty impressive pass he made on the first TD pass to Fuller. People just love to trash certain QB's. Zaire is a player.
