rashan gary,,,,,Any chance for Notre Dame.????

1%. He says he wants to visit ND and USC still before narrowing down his list. I think he'll end up like Hand a couple yrs back. Really like Michigan but end up at an SEC school.

I've read that he really likes Michigan but that he seems more interested in some sec teams over them but that could change I guess when he visits Michigan for the BYU game. keep reading that mom really wants him to visit south bend but I really couldn't tell you if he really wants to visit

Read somewhere that Gary's mom really loved his high school coach who is now on the Harbauch staff . Might be enough to get him to commit to Michigan who is still in the lead.. But there have been little clips that he has a feel for the SEC .

Give ND about a 10% chance .But who knows . If he does follow through with a visit to ND ,chance for a commit to ND would improve our chance a little.

Mom's status on the Harbaugh staff is very precarious, should RG commit elsewhere.
The thing about JH is he doesn't try to 'dance a lil sidestep', he is blatant. I think his admin staff will eventually be comprised of prospects family members.

(JH must have reacted to reports that RG's Mom was very v close friends with Wimbush's Mom.)

Think you are misreading things or are misinformed.
Gary's mother is not on the staff. His HS football coach is. Gary's mother likes the guy.
Harbaugh did hire the mother of a former Stanford player who is a 5th year, Wayne Lyons.

corrected; thank you. I did mis-read the earlier post. So we still have Mom on our side!
thanks again.

Don't know that we have mom on our side. I do know we have a connection between Wimbush and Gary and that their moms are friendly. From what I have heard, Gary's mother is very interested in the 40 year decision line.
That being said, as a fan we hear recruits and their parents say that quite often, and then they end up at Auburn or Mississippi. What amazes me is how Harbaugh himself has been openly critical of Michigan's Athletic Department and their commitment to "meaningful" degrees, yet he is now out there selling it.

Different regime almost 10 years ago. He can sell it as he is going in their to change the culture.

I am aware of how he is going to sell it. I just find it amusing.
He complained about it from his time there 25 years ago. He complained about it under every coach since.
Yet, he as a HFC is going to change the culture.

The main quotes in writing that show him making any reference to it are after he got passed over on the job. I do not believe he has been complaining about it for the last 25 years... however in all fairness I haven't paid to much attention to how much people complain about MeatChiken

SEC is losing cache...gonna be lots more opportunities for talents like this to wind up elsewhere over the next year or two

Whoever cuts the biggest check. If they havent committed yet it means they are looking for the best deal=$$$. Why do you think the biggest winners on NSD are always UOJ, Ohst and the SEC?

I dont think the SEC is losing ground as an overall conference. But the talent is spreading out more than it used to. There arent any Florida's or Bamas from a few yrs ago. Now the talent is spreading out among 5 or 6 teams as kids are sold on they can be a part of building the next dynasty (see Ole Miss).

fans writing off Bama may be surprised when all is said n done. The SEC is 4-5 teams deep in '15
Ole Miss is for real, they are very talented. They also were very fortunate in that game.

Bama's roster is just awesome. TE is way the best in the country - RB as a group are far away the best. They have talent with size up front on both lines. As the season progresses they will be better.

You really should not depend on someone else so much..You must be a Democrat.

and you obviously don't have longegity on this board! Else you would know that I miss him as another poster who follows recruiting; someone who was able to discuss recruiting. But thanks for your contribution here, it added so much.
