I watched the replay of ND/North Carolina yesterday.
1) When a shot goes out of bonds, it is awarded to the team who had the closest player to the ball.
What is the rule rationale for that? It seems like it gives the offensive team a lot more chances.
2) Is generating offense on the Honor System? Is seems like if you were ahead, you could "go through the motions" of playing like generating offense. A shot clock is never used, correct? Is it up to the officials discretion to determine if a team is legitimately trying to score?
It looks really fun to play. Because ND is Number #1 in the country, I will watch a few more games.
