QB Sam Hartman Adjusting to Nuances of Notre Dame's Offense

A good coach will take things from Hartman as well.

As stated he was used to going high octane uptempo 100 mph.

That is a wrinkle we could use and WILL NEED at times. There's times when the opposition just has your number and it's their day...and it's a dynamic that can disrupt momentum, etc.

BK made hay at Cinci going mach5 and it gave him an edge. Everyone started doing it so he completely went the other way and went in slow motion.

We need uptempo back again as we most certainly could use it. Maybe as soon as OSU.

A good coach will adapt to what the personnel does really well and Hartman has proven he thrives in a high paced system.

Here's to hoping we see some of that and truly keep the opposition off balance.

Nolan Ryan adjusting his cap.

There are going to be some issues . There have to be when you are adjusting to a new system , adjusting to a new WR group not to mention playing some under Center which he has barely done .

Sorry for those expecting Joe Montana from Day 1.

Then again -- this is spring ball/practice -- not much to get excited about.

And then, we have the annual spring game (i.e. glorified practice session) -- again, there, I expect to see absolutely nothing earth shattering. I see more of the younger guys getting their day in the sun more than anything.
