I understand your sentiment but you have to think Buchner might not play all 12 games next year. That leaves Angeli, Minchey and RP3. They need depth.
Depth is great, but you ain't getting a QB worth a shit whose willing to come to be depth
Purdue also lost a 4 star redshirt freshman qb to the portal so Purdue isn’t tearing up the portal.
With Brady Allen(Red shirt freshman from Gibson Southern), a standout HS QB leaving the boilers there will be little competition for Card.
