Pro Kelly/Anti Kelly

that article could have been written 3+years ago! has he taken those comments from the posters on this forum. Has the media has caught up to the curve, can they keep up?

If they build a statue of BK, it should be outside Jack's office window and it should be BK holding his right arm up, giving him the middle finger!

What's truly redundant is constantly having to explain that being pro ND is not the same as pro BK. What's redundant is "if you are not anti-BK, then you are pro-BK". What's redundant is media types making judgements about BK, ND, and it's program without ever setting foot on campus or even referring to an Irish media insider who actually knows what's going on. Jeff Bartl's opinion holds no value. He most likely got his talking points from a message board and used it as sourced material I am sure. What's redundant is the same exact negative talking points, used ad nauseam, by the same exact posters. What's sadly redundant is the constant echo for team losses and empty stadiums, all in the name of saving "your " program. I'm with 78. I support ND and I support the student-athletes. "Get used to it"!

the few supporters we read here are comprised of those who sre 'close' to Kelly and are here to try to temper criticism and the same few that are just again fearful of change or the unknown, those that were backing Weis till it became virtually imbicilic to do so. Kelly has very little support.
But in truth it matters little; none of the debates, none of the words or promises matter; the ultimate inevitable eventuality cannot be avoided because the guy is not capable and wrong for ND.

I'm in no way, shape or form going against the players who fight dilligently. Just stating i like the article and agree with the stance.

Our players have their fault on the season. More so coaching errors and poor fundamentals than player error. Far different than bashing players or disparaging ND.

There are no good guys or bad guys here. Quit trying to create division. The drama queen angle has been played out, so now it's time for you to either be "in" for the players and the program or sit out the 2017 season. Take up gardening or yoga or drawing by numbers. Anything but ND football.

The ol' Ball Coach came out of hiding in his team's laundry room to taunt people who are fans of Harbaugh on this board. No surprise. I wonder if he has anything to say about Coach Shaw notching another 10-win season at Stanford. Didn't think so. Now he can go back to whatever team he coaches (allegedly) and figure out what went wrong again this year, much like Brian Kelly is doing.

I got jist of a post by one of the 'usual suspects' that tried to imply criticism if Kelly is in a way criticism of the players or something like that!

Well that is doing to the players exactly what Kelly does! Deflect blame onto the players!

Make no mistake: this dissatisfaction is directed towards Kelly! Kelly!

Given the author's (Bartle) built in bias and dislike of Notre Dame, this really isn't the story I would put forward to support an argument against Kelly. Some comments have weight, but most of the copy (crap) was just dislike of the school and Kelly. There's so much material to use against Kelly, look elsewhere. Bartle's writing, arguments and thought process are sophomoric. What do you expect from a Spartan that's never grown up?

"Very little support".......say what you will, but he has the support of Jack and the BOT. That's all he needs. Doesn't matter what the anonymous message board hacks have to say.
 
Are we seriously going to keep this garbage going the entire off season? Surely there's other things to discuss surrounding ND Football?
