HONOLULU (AP) -- Russell Wilson from NC State / Wisconsin threw three first-half touchdown passes to lead Team Irvin to a 49-27 victory over Team Rice in the Pro Bowl on Sunday.

The teams were drafted and captained by Hall of Fame wide receivers Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice.

Former ACC stars, Minnesota's Teddy Bridgewater from Louisville and Tampa Bay's Jameis Winston from Florida State each added two TD passes for Team Irvin.

Team Irvin put the game away with three straight TDs: a 50-yard catch by Robinson from Bridgewater, a 53-yard reception by Walker from Winston and a 7-yarder by Hopkins, also thrown by Winston.

Atlanta Falcons Devonta Freeman from Florida State had five touches (three carries, two receptions) on the drive that culminated in a TD grab.

Cincinnati tight end Tyler Eifert from Notre Dame appeared to injure a foot during the game while diving for a pass for Team Irvin.

SALittle...........

You may not care but others do just like the Senior Bowl that's on the front page. The point is the ACC including ND sends a lot of top talent to the NFL. Interesting? Sup to the individual.

How is that a "point"? The ACC is a Power 5 conference. It would be news if they didn't send a lot of top talent to the NFL.

In fact, the talking point that I've heard the last few years is the question of why the ACC sends so much top talent to the NFL, but generally doesn't have as deep a conference as others.

NDE.......

Re: Conference depth.

Yep, that's been the rap on the ACC in the past and I believe that was true. That said, the depth of the ACC is improving rapidly. Just look how much Clemson and North Carolina have improved in the last 2 years. In the next 2 years there will be more big improvements with all the new coaching hires. Of course, with this latest recruiting class ND should improve as well.
