Great season! In games that mattered Kelly went 0-3. GA, Miami, Stanford. But it’s hard to win on the road. So we’re good Kelly.
No use in calling out posters. They have nothing to do with the hiring or firing of BK. They just make comments on a free message board with the power to do nothing. Direct any anger to where it belongs. BK and staff. Players not making plays.
8 years and no BCS wins, and repeated embarrassments on the big stage...
if it hasn't happened by now, it's not going to happen... it's time to move on, just for the sake of moving on...
I think Kelly is a good coach, and he has done some good things here, but there are others out there who are just as good, and more importantly, who will come in with a clean slate... 8 years is a lifetime college football coaching...
I might even feel differently if not for such a collapse at the end of the season, with everything there for the taking, and even then, a good showing would mitigate that...
but man, it's like they played scared, intimidated, and just didn't seem to have anyone there to calm them down, or give them some fire... and Kelly just looks like he's sulking...

Half this board is caustic. I had to report some idiot for a completely serious racist comment and this guy claims to be an Irish fan. Even if the whole board is caustic, we have no power over this program. We just give comments and opinions which influence nobody. Blame BK....yes. Blame the staff....yes. Blame the players......yes. But don't blame a bunch of anonymous Irish fans who post on a free message board.

So just keep the guy who can't get it done when it counts. I don't know. i will take anyone with a pulse at this point. Anybody is better than BK.
Too many so called board experts have me believing that Kelly is the only one who can coach here and 8-4 is the new normal. I just need to get the big foam No 1 glove like they have.
Saying, "who is better?", is like the insecure guy that won't get rid of his horrible GF because he's scared he can't replace her. Trust me! My hand could motivate this team more than Kelly

if Stanford wins another game, David Shaw will have his 6th 10 win season in 7 seasons - he is 4-2 in bowls, with two BCS wins, and 3 conference championships - and he's doing that at the ONE FBS school that is tougher academically than ND...
Harbaugh had one 10 win season at Stanford... Since Harbaugh came to UM - he is 28 -10 - Shaw is 31-8 in that same stretch...

I am far from a Brian Kelly fan, but this team took some big steps forward.
I can see good things happening next season. These young men with another season with these coordinators, they will grow from this season

true, but he got hired in 2009 - and they probably would have paid Bob Stoops 4 mil in 2009 if he wanted the job... the issue was never money, it was about getting the best players on the field and having some freedom with the roster...
Stoops wanted JUCOs and marginal academic players - ND wouldn't budge... that has been the issue since Holtz, not money...
and anyone who pays Scott frost 6 mil a year is a moron - they're passing the hat to get him 1.5 mil, and he has less than 2 years HC experience, in a weak conference...
hardly a dumpster fire - a lot of coaches would kill to have ND's talent...
USC, MSU, NC St.. every game matters.. I thought ND was justified in canning BK last year and again this year. Will they? Prob not.. I don't agree with a Fleck type of hire, somebody who has s losing record and will learn on the job isn't the answer. BK is a top 15-20 coach, ND needs a big splash if they're going to replace BK- Urban, Peterson, Stoops. I've always maintained coach Pete is the most/only logical choice.
