In light of the new ranking I've been thinking about something for some time now.
Would a two loss SEC champion get in provided others at the top have one loss?
This very well could happen and I can't see the committee giving the nod to the sec champ by default. I hope not anyways.
The one team with one loss I could see leap frogging us is Oklahoma.
If they win out, that means they beat, TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma St. ....
If they do that I believe the committee would over look that Texas game loss.
Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma St. Won't get in with one loss ...first of all the loss would be too late in the year. Secondly they don't play any form of defense.
Obviously if one of those big 12 schools wins out undefeated they will be in.
I still say the cementing on our sidewalk to get in will be winning at Stanford then Stanford the very next week obliterating its opponent in the Pac 12 title game.
Clemson continuing to roll helps us as well as everyone knows we could have won that game.
