well, he has help - teammates and staff! honestly, DK has exceeded even my expectations for this early in his career. He seemed special by the accounts I read about his athleticism and leadership, but whether it is good/bad luck, preparation has met opportunity!
With QB's it is all about intangibles. A lot of kids have the physical gifts. DK apparently has both. To think this kid might be sitting on the bench as 3rd string!

I expect he will continue to lead the team to further success.

Two thoughts. First, I haven't read a post from Perse in a week or so, and hope he is well. I find him a negative pain in the ass much of the time, but he does make good points to ponder. Second, I disagree that Perse tells it like it is.... He certainly does from his perspective, but that perspective is biased against Kelly and this taints the majority of his posts. Just glad we are no longer reading his mantra about the minimum cumulative star rating that is necessary to win, how ND will never be able to compete for a NC on a regular basis because talented kids have no interest in a mid west Catholic university that demands academic accountability, and how Kelly cannot attract and retain quality assistant coaches, etc...etc... This will probably earn me another " I put you on ignore" response from Perse, but that would mean he is OK, and that would be good.

Bodi...funny, but yes, he was on ignore. Not sure when I did this as Perse is nowhere near the few posters I do intentionally ignore. Glad he is OK and thanks for pointing out my mistake.
