realizing his best spot to play football in the Fall is ND ? I realize this possibility is astronomical, but hear me out...... lets say that after he visits all of the schools on his list and talks to the Head Coach and OC, and none of the coaches flat out promise him the starting job. Lets say some of the coaches tell him, "we want you, we believe you can be our starter, but you will have to compete with player X and player Y and win the job in August". Wouldnt insecure Golson see this in a similar light as he viewed his status at ND. Isnt playing somewhere where you are familiar with the system, the coaches and players be a more comfortbable situation ? So lets say he comes back to Kelly in 2 weeks and says that he has considered other programs but is most comfortable with ND and would like to play his 5th year in S. Bend, what is Kelly's response ? Have at it boys, I'm sure this will be a feeding frenzy.
