Parking question (UT fan here)

I have 4 tix + a parking pass for the Library Lots (I've looked at the map and they appear to be just a bit north of the stadium).

What is my exit/departure strategy after the game? We are heading back to Chicago right after the game (my wife and 2 teen kids - so I'll be drinking coffee and they'll be sleeping). It may turn out that we (Texas) are getting killed so we can make for the exits early and beat traffic!

Thanks in advance.

If you have to wait until the end of the game, you may want to try to get east to the toll road exit that is in between South Bend and Elkhart, then go west on the toll road.

I don't know how often you've been to Notre Dame, but if I was you I would stick around campus for a bit after the game, take a stroll, see the sites, light a candle, take some pics..... The Grotto, Admin, Sacred Heart, the lake...are beautiful at night. It'll be a bit late, but I'd rather walk around campus to burn time than sit on I 80 or wherever....

dear ND, please forgive the OP. for he must be having a temporary lapse in his memory.
we at TEXAS, never ever admit to "getting killed" by anyone. not to mention, we simply do not RACE to the exits should we be losing. if at all necessary... we shall walk like TEXANS.
just who on earth is this guy? ;)

Definitely not a true fan. I've never left a game early.

Agree with you g-class.

We at Notre Dame, especially the students and the true fans, stay in the stadium til the end in every game, win lose or whatever. Many of us even stay until the band plays the Alma Mater and leaves the stadium.

I've been to SB many times for ND games as a neutral fan, but this is my first night game. How early do you think the golf course lot will fill up for this one?
