OT: Top-10 Chicago Cub MLB prospects

The Chicago Tribune listed the top-10 Cub prospects according to Baseball America:

  1. Brailyn Marquez, LHP
  2. Brennen Davis, OF
  3. Miguel Amaya, C
  4. Ed Howard IV, SS
  5. Adbert Alzolay, RHP
  6. Kohl Franklin, RHP
  7. Ryan Jensen, RHP
  8. Christopher Morel, 3B
  9. Chase Strumpf, 2B
  10. Riley Thompson, RHP
Quite frankly, this is not a real impressive list once you get past the top-5 players on the list. I guess that is to be expected when your farm system is only ranked in the 26-28 range in the various farm system rankings that I have seen this winter.
