May the Lord bless her, keep her and hold her in the palm of his hand.

She was tough as nails so don’t cross her. She was as sharp as a tack so don’t try to fool her. But she had a heart of gold and knew how to treat others with respect. A true humanitarian.

She was truly the best and she taught me so much. For that... I’ll be forever grateful for her teachings.

I also believe that she fired up the troops at halftime. She knew how much our family loved ND so I’m sure she played a part. Obviously that’s just my emotions playing tricks on me tonight but it’s easy to think that way when I’m in this type of state of mind. She passed about an hour after the final whistle. It was a tough day but we were blessed to have her pass with loved ones instead of strangers in a home.
