Ordinary People has to be in the top three. Animal house? Love the movie, but he has like three scenes. Good list. But I'd go Mash, Ordinary People, Don't Look Now (classic!), and Kelly's Heroes! Great actor.

Good list. He is a great one. Everything from Buffy to Bass Reeves. For whatever reason I liked his performances in Animal House and Disclosure the best. He epitomized there are no small roles.... RIP.

I don't like Kelly's Heroes. I did include The Dirty Dozen, which I think is still silly, but much more entertaining.

And yes, this list includes minor roles. And I have a soft spot for Animal House.

I often get Eye Of The Needle and The Eagle Has Landed confused with one another.

It was a small but his role in Backdraft when he played the pyro was legit. He played a great villian in Hunger Games series.

Dang, you're a real Donald Sutherland fan. And you even had Invasion of the Body Snatchers in there. Can't miss that one. But you did miss 'Lost Angels', starring the just deceased Don Sutherland, as well as Beastie Boys maestro Adam Horowitz. That might have been one of his best....

Anyway, may he rest in peace. He was an excellent actor. For a Canadian.

Sluggo was a fan of his roles as Lucien Wilbanks in A Time to Kill and Johann von Wolfhaus in Beerfest

Agree, I'll remember him as the original Hawkeye in MASH
