- Despite the overwhelming flak I took, i wasn't wrong about Arrieta's uneven performance in game 2 but I'll be the first to say he looked great tonight. Thought Joe yanked him a little early but it worked.
- Rizzo's homer was HUGE as it allowed Maddon to get Chapman out after he put a man on in the 9th.
- Bryant: 4 hits. Well done son.
- Glad to see Woody get a chance to close it out. Solid Cub citizen.
- Hendricks tomorrow with absolutely everyone in the pen.
- Kluber: 2nd straight start on 3 days rest. Hope it affects him like it affected Tomlin.
- All: True Cub fans never call them the "Cubbies". Like calling San Francisco "Frisco", it's a sure sign you're an out of towner and in the case of the Cubs a sign that you're a bandwagon fan
- My first game was 1961. Only took 55 years to see them play in a WS. Damn, this feels good.
